Meet the second Thursday evening of every month at Akronym Brewing to think and drink like the ancient Greek philosophers! The library does not provide food and drink; however, a drink discount for beer/wine on tap is available.
In July, we will be reading and discussing "A Swim in a Pond in the Rain: In Which Four Russians Give a Master Class on Writing, Reading, and Life" by George Saunders. Drawn from a course Saunders teaches at Syracuse University, these seven essays and short stories from Russian literary masters will explore the power of story and what it reveals about ourselves and the world around us.
