August 3, 6:30 pm: "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" (2009)
Wes Anderson’s charming adaptation (with screenplay by Noah Baumbach) of the Roald Dahl book about a fox community in crisis after Mr. Fox (George Clooney) cannot resist pulling one more raid on the neighboring farmers. With vocal stylings by Meryl Streep, Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman, Michael Gambon, and Willem Dafoe, PG, 87 min.
August 10, 6:30 pm: "The Jungle Book" (1967)
The classic Disney film about the adventures of Mowgli the Man Cub, inspired by Rudyard Kipling, and set to music with catchy songs by the Sherman Brothers. With fabulous vocals by Louie Prima, Phil Harris, Sterling Holloway, George Sanders, Sebastian Cabot, J. Pat O’Malley, and Clint Howard, G, 78 min.
August 17, 6:30 pm: "The Iron Giant" (1999)
A young boy befriends a giant robot that has come from outer space. At the same time, government agents are working to destroy the alien visitor. Directed by Brad Bird, with voices by Jennifer Aniston, Vin Diesel, and Cloris Leachman, PG, 86 min.
August 24, 6:30 pm: "The Book of Life" (2014)
Guillermo del Toro produced this magical and gorgeous film with direction, story, and artwork by Jorge R. Gutierrez, about a young man who is torn between family obligations and following his heart, while relating the traditions of Día de los Muertos. With voices by Diego Luna, Zoe Saldana, Channing Tatum, Ron Perlman, Christina Applegate, Ice Cube, and Danny Trejo, PG, 95 min.
August 31, 6:30 pm: "Chicken Run" (2000)
DreamWorks teams with Aardman Animation ("Wallace and Gromit") in this claymation comedy about chickens who decide to rebel against their brutal farm owners. With voices by Mel Gibson, Miranda Richardson, and Timothy Spall, G, 84 min.

Main Library, located in the heart of downtown Akron, combines compelling public space with meaningful and relevant public library services for all members of our community. Since opening in 2004, the downtown library welcomes more than one million visitors each year.
Subject divisions include: Business, Government & Science, Culture & AV, Magazines & Newspapers, Special Collections (local history & genealogy), TechZone@Main, Teen, and a 12,000 square feet Children's Library.
Special services available at Main Library include: a Patent & Trademark Resource Center; U.S. Passport and Notary services; a Microbusiness Center; a Maker Space; a resource lab for early childhood educators; and regularly scheduled computer training classes. Also available at Main Library are more than 125 public access computers, color photocopiers/printers, laminating, scanning, faxing, and free Wi-Fi.
Specialized spaces include a 425-seat auditorium, public meeting rooms, and a used bookstore. An interior glass block walkway leads to a 600-space parking garage owned by the City of Akron. An outdoor amphitheater and landscaped park complete the complex.
