In this program, Special Collections staff will share tips and practices about how to prolong the life of those family collectibles such as photographs, documents, letters, scrapbooks, audio-visual materials, and clothing. They will also discuss ideas about how to minimize deterioration and store these kinds of historic items properly.
The Akron-Summit County Public Library has materials available on family history, including "Photo Organizing Made Easy: Going From Overwhelmed to Overjoyed" by Cathi Nelson.
