Acclaimed music specialists from Les Délices will demonstrate their unique period instruments and discuss their working process in a series of library workshops presented by ORMACO.
How can we know what music from 400 or 600 years ago sounded like? What clues do we have or tools can we use to make that music come alive today? Join us as we learn about early string and wind instruments, introduce musical notation in Medieval manuscripts and early printed books, and consider the historical role of music and musicians in society.
