The Carter Pedigo Trail will be transformed into an Enchanted Story Land Forest! Registration is required for children only; adult caregivers do not need to register. The rain date is August 16.
Become part of the story for one morning only, and join in our interactive scavenger hunt. The Carter-Pedigo Trail will transform into the Enchanted Story Land Forest, as characters and villains from classic children’s fairy tales and nursery rhymes are brought to life. Enjoy an outdoor Faire before or after your enchanted adventure (11 am- 1 pm). Make and take a craft, have a caricature sketched, meet our Paws for Reading dogs, and more.
Registration for this event is required for children only; adult caregivers do not need to register. Please register one child from your household and include how many other children will be attending in the guests column to ensure your entire family is registered. There are four sessions, and each session is limited to 50 children. Register online, in person, or by phone at 330.659.4343.
Please note the trail is not very stroller or sandal friendly, as the trail is made of crushed limestone. Please dress for the weather. Sunscreen and bug spray are recommended.

The library experience for customers of the Richfield Branch Library is eclectic and energizing. At the library, opportunities for individual and family engagement include an extensive NatureConnect interactive space, an ongoing StoryWalk collaboration along the Carter Pedigo Trail, and other hands-on, participatory exploration opportunities. Every time you visit the Richfield Branch Library, there is something to do, play, study, explore, or observe—and the chance to make a memory.
