Take a live, virtual tour of all of the aquarium galleries with an aquarium educator. The Greater Cleveland Aquarium is home to over 2,500 animals. Register online, by phone, or in person.
Get a guided exploration of these galleries: Ohio Lakes and Rivers, Asia & Indonesia, Industry & Habitat, Coastal Boardwalk, and Shark Gallery. Be prepared for an overload of fun and interesting (and sometimes downright bizarre) facts about the animals on exhibit. Ask questions and receive answers in real-time.
The Greater Cleveland Aquarium opened in 2012, and is situated in the Historic Powerhouse building on the West Bank of the Flats. There are around 300 species to see, totaling over 2,500 animals.
The Akron Summit County Public Library has many resources on sea life, including The World Beneath: The Life and Times of Unknown Sea Creatures and Coral Reefs by Dr. Richard Smith.

Reference assistance, computers and computer classes, WiFi, copiers, scanning, and faxing round out the services provided within the library. The full scope of community participation, however, is seen in local senior care facilities, local schools and preschools, and neighborhood festivals where Highland Square Branch Library staff plays an active role in creating experiences for participants of all ages.
