Learn about how and why Ohio was the winter headquarters for several grand skill circuses like the Sells Brothers of Columbus and the Robinsons of Cincinnati.

These shows toured 19th-century America and were considered the original greatest show on earth while the Ringling brothers were still boys in Wisconsin and P.T. Barnum was still operating a museum in New York.
