Join us on Earth Day for a presentation by Kate Valentine, local author, environmental advocate, and founder of Life (On Earth) Preservers, an environmental action organization. She will discuss simple ideas to support the health of the earth that we can incorporate into our daily lives.
All participants will be furnished with a copy of her booklet “Developing Earth Friendly Habits: One Week at a Time,” which provides individuals with information about environmental sustainability and practical tips for reducing pollution and waste.
The program will be presented virtually on the Zoom platform and patrons need to register online, by phone, or at the Richfield Branch service desk.
You will receive an e-mail with the participation link two days before the program. Please contact the Library if you are unable to attend.

The library experience for customers of the Richfield Branch Library is eclectic and energizing. At the library, opportunities for individual and family engagement include an extensive NatureConnect interactive space, an ongoing StoryWalk collaboration along the Carter Pedigo Trail, and other hands-on, participatory exploration opportunities. Every time you visit the Richfield Branch Library, there is something to do, play, study, explore, or observe—and the chance to make a memory.
