Led by author Victor Fleischer, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company: A Photographic History, 1898-1951 presentation will describe how the photos were selected and researched and share some of the most interesting, historically significant, and aesthetically appealing ones.
Follow its history through the stunning historic photographs from Goodyear’s corporate collection, now housed and available at the University of Akron Archives.
Victor Fleischer, Head of Archives, meticulously selected and curated these rare and stunning photographs illuminating Goodyear’s history in to a new book published by the University of Akron Press and describes them in detail, telling the fascinating stories behind the people, places, and products that made Goodyear the largest and most influential tire and rubber company in the world.
