Dress up and enjoy tea with author and storyteller, S. R. Taylor, as she reads from her book "ROUND." Celebrate kindness and creativity with a moving message about the power of believing in yourself.
Feel free to express yourself in costume, and enjoy a tea party as we hear author and storyteller, S. R. Taylor, read from her book, ROUND. We learn about Olivia Catherine Amanda Mae Brown, who more than anything wants to be a butterfly and dance in the play, but is bullied into believing she's too fat. What will Olivia do? Who will she believe? We follow Olivia's magical journey as she discovers that everyone indeed deserves the chance to dance. S. R. Taylor addresses the issues of bullying in a creative and compassionate manner, stressing the importance of believing in yourself, no matter what others say about you. Ms. Taylor will also discuss the tea party etiquette as we enjoy tea and baked goods.

Also available at Main Library are more than 125 public access computers, color photocopiers/printers, laminating, scanning, faxing, and free Wi-Fi.
Specialized spaces include a 425-seat auditorium, public meeting rooms, and a used bookstore. An interior glass block walkway leads to a 600-space parking garage owned by the City of Akron. An outdoor amphitheater and landscaped park complete the complex.
