Postcard Little Art Show Kick Off for Adults
Registration and Supply Pick Up @ Firestone Park

Craft a postcard related to the theme "Where We Live." Stop by to register and pick up supplies on Tuesday, September 3, 3-8 pm, while supplies last.
Display your artistic talents in our Little Art Show! So many talented people live in our community. We would love to showcase your talent in our Little Art Show at the following locations: Fairlawn-Bath, Firestone Park, Goodyear, Green, Highland Square, Kenmore, Nordonia Hills, Portage Lakes, Richfield, and Springfield-Lakemore.
If you are unable to attend the in-person registration supply pickup event, call 330.724.2126 to register and reserve your supplies, while they last, through September 21. You will receive a postcard and colored pencils, plus some prompts for creative inspiration related to our theme “Where We Live.” Supplies limited to 40 registrants per branch.
Details for submission:
1. Participants must be 18 or older.
2. Create a piece of art using the supplies provided. You may also use supplies you have at home, but must use provided postcard.
3. One set of supplies per person; You may only participate at one location.
4. Do not frame your artwork.
5. Please use the theme "Where We Live" for your subject matter. Please keep your art family-friendly.
6. Please note the correct orientation of the art by placing an arrow on the back of your postcard, noting the side that should be pointing up.
7. Return finished artwork to the branch location where you picked up your supplies by 8 pm on September 24.
8. Art will be on display at each branch from October 1-31. If you wish to keep your artwork, please pick up by Saturday, November 9, 2024.
9. Participants who submit their art for the exhibit will be entered into a prize drawing (one at each participating branch location). Drawings will occur by November 4.
10. By submitting your art, you are giving permission to Akron-Summit County Public Library to display, photograph, and promote it.
The library reserves the right not to display artwork that could be considered offensive or inappropriate.

The Firestone Park Branch Library has the tools and resources that customers need to meet their personal and professional goals—computers and computer classes, mini-clinics for one-on-one tech assistance, WiFi, printing, copying, scanning, faxing, and more. A rich collection of books, music, and movies, including a large Parent-Teacher collection, complements these services, offering learning and entertainment opportunities responsive to the needs and interests of the Firestone Park community.
The Firestone Park Branch Library is also a neighborhood hub for programming for all ages—storytime for the youngest customers, Fun Club for school-age visitors, teen gaming and crafting, adult learning opportunities, and an evolving NatureConnect space that inspires outdoor exploration programming across the seasons. Firestone Branch Library staff is out in the community—at schools and local events—and at the library to bring educational and entertainment resources to all.
